Description
Phone ScreenLock is a small and very simple in use program. It will make your phone
talks more comfortable. Now there is no risk to start another program because of
a casual touch of the screen with a cheek or fingers. Phone ScreenLock program locks
the screen until you hang up.
But it does not mean, that additional functions of your phone are inaccessible during a call. You can unlock your phone for the whole talk, or for the certain period of time after which the screen and the keyboard will be locked automatically again.
If you make many important phone calls and you do not want your talk to be interrupted because of a casual touch of the screen or buttons, Phone Screenlock is the best solution for you!
Installation
You should install PhoneScreenLock_OTA.cab for PPC 2003 or higher.
1. Transfer the installation file (PhoneScreenLock_OTA.cab file) to your Pocket PC from a desktop
PC or by any wireless connection or Internet(OTA).
2. In File Explorer, locate the application installation package.
3. Select the PhoneScreenLock_OTA.cab file and press it to start the installation process.
Note: Be sure to uninstall the previous version and make a soft reset before installing a new one.
Trial Period
You can freely use the full functional trial version of Phone ScreenLock during
3 days. Then you will have to purchase the program or to remove it from your device.
Registration Code
Once the trial period ends you must purchase and enter a registration code to continue
using the software. You do not need to re-install the software. Simply enter a registration
code and your Trial version will be converted into a Registered version.
1. Press Start -> Programs -> Phone ScreenLock -> Actions -> Register.
2. Carefully enter the Registration Code.
3. Press Register when done.
Deleting Application
If You decide not to buy Phone ScreenLock You have to delete the application from
your device and desktop PC.
1. Connect your Pocket PC to your Windows desktop PC.
2. In the Windows taskbar, right-click on the green ActiveSync icon,
and select Open Microsoft ActiveSync.
3. From the Tools menu, select Add/Remove Programs.
4. Click on the program, then click the Remove button (next to "To
remove the selected program from both your device and this computer, click Remove").
How to Use Phone ScreenLock
Phone Screenlock works in the background mode so you must start it only once after
installation.
1. Press Start -> Programs, and then press Phone ScreenLock
to start the program for the first time or customize it.
2. Change the State setting to Active. Now the screen and navigation
control will be locked when you speak on the phone.
Note: Press Enter button of Navigation Control during a call to unlock screen and navigation control of your phone for specified time interval (Temporary unlock period setting). After the expiry of the unlock time the screen and navigation control will be locked again.
How to Customize Phone ScreenLock
Press Start -> Programs, press Phone ScreenLock and then select
the Main tab to change the following settings:
1. State
1.1. Select the desired state of the Phone ScreenLock
program.
1.1.1. Select Active
to enable Phone ScreenLock program. The screen and navigation control (except Talk,
Hang Up and Enter button of Navigation Control) will be locked
during a phone call.
1.1.2. Select Inactive
to disable Phone ScreenLock program.
2. Temporary unlock period setting specifies a time interval in which the screen and navigation control should be unlocked (by pressing the Enter button) during a call.
Note:You can unlock the screen for a whole time of a phone call by pressing an "Up" button.
2.1. Use Temporary unlock period to choose the desired unlock time (2-8 sec) from the list.
3. On start delay
3.1. Use On start delay to choose the desired delay between the beginning of a phone call and start of the Phone ScreenLock program (0-5 sec) from the list.
I.e. if On start delay is ‘2 sec’ then Phone ScreenLock will lock the screen and navigation control in 2 seconds after the beginning of a phone call.
4. Autostart after reset
4.1. Check the Autostart after reset box to automatically activate Phone ScreenLock after the Soft Reset of your phone (the State preference is changed to Active).
Note:If Autostart after reset is not checked, Phone ScreenLock will be disabled after the Soft Reset of your phone (the State preference will be changed to Inactive).
How to Customize Options
Press Start -> Programs, press Phone ScreenLock and then select
the Options tab to change the following settings:
1. Lock signal
1.1. Choose the type of signal when controls are locked.
2. Unlock signal
2.1. Choose the type of signal when controls are unlocked.
3. Time Elapsed Signal
3.1. Use Type to choose the type of elapsed time signal.
3.2. Use Interval to choose the desired time interval (10 sec - 2 min) for a signal as a reminder of the elapsed time from the start of the talk.
3.3. Use Signal Before to select desired time interval
for forestalling of Time Elapsed Signal (0 sec - 20 sec).
I.e. if Interval is 1 min and Signal
Before is 5 sec, the Time Elapsed Signal will sound after 55 sec.
4. Turn off screen after
4.1. Use Turn off screen after to choose the desired delay after which the screen will be turned off.
How to Customize Call Drop
Press Start -> Programs, press Phone ScreenLock and then select
the Call Drop tab to change the following settings:
1. Drop Incoming Call After
1.1. Use this setting to choose the desired time after wich your phone will hang up if the call type is incoming.
2. Drop Outgoing Call After
2.1. Use this setting to choose the desired time after wich your phone will hang up if the call type is outgoing.
Press Apply to save changes. Press OK not to save changes.
