Peg Solitaire V2.02
Instructions
This is the one of the traditional puzzles typically played on a board with holes and pegs. The black circles are the pegs and the empty squares are the holes. Hop a peg over a peg and into a hole. Try to hop so that only one peg is left: ideally in the center of the board. In this game ONLY horizontal and vertical moves are possible. NO DIAGONAL MOVES!
When you tap a black peg it becomes marked with an X through it. Now, tap a valid hole. You will know it is a valid move because the marked peg will move into the hole you tapped and the peg you hopped will be removed from the board. If the move is invalid the marked peg will become unmarked and you will have to try again. If you mark a peg and decide that you don't wish to move that peg, simply tap the peg again and it will become unmarked. In fact, you can tap any other peg or invalid hole to accomplish the same thing.
At the bottom of the screen is the Edit Mode check box and its status field just to its right. This is used to create custom game boards and is explained below. Just above these areas is the text field that holds the name of the game being played. Just to the right of that is a blank area where status information is displayed.
Games
Standard - The standard game board is set up with all the pegs in the board with the exception of no peg in the center hole.

Custom - When the Edit box in the bottom of the screen is checked you place the game in Edit Mode. In Edit Mode you can change pegs to holes by tapping on them and holes to pegs by tapping on them. Using this mode you can design your own game boards. For example, you can create a standard board by tapping on the Standard button and selecting Yes to the program when it pops up a dialog about erasing the screen. Once the Standard screen is drawn check the edit box by tapping it once. Next, tap the hole in the center of the board and watch it turn into a peg. Now, tap the peg where you would like the starting hole to be. Once you have the board the way you want, leave the Edit box checked and select Custom from the drop down menu. You will be asked if you want to save the current game board as a custom board. Tap on Yes. You will notice that the Edit box becomes unchecked automatically and the game type displayed is Custom. Use this method to create any design you wish but be warned: some patterns will be unsolvable.
Other Games - Below are pictures showing all of the other game boards that the program provides. Some are easy and others are hard.

Status - There is a status field that will pop up when the game is performing an activity like initialization and when it is saving your game when exiting. Below it is a text field where the game type you are playing will be displayed.
Editing - When you check Edit normal game play is suspended. In Edit mode you can tap a peg to make it a hole or tap a hole to make it a peg. When you uncheck Edit you can resume normal game play however, the Edit status field displays Edited! to indicate that the board was tampered with. This is to prevent cheating (look Mom I solved the Pyramid I dont think so). If you leave the Edit box checked and select Custom from the drop down menu, as mentioned above, you capture the board as the custom board and the 'Edited!' message goes away. Selecting Custom when you are not in Edit Mode clears the board to the board you designed.
Saving Games - Your board state is automatically saved whenever you leave the game. So is the 'Edited' status of the board and so is your Custom board.
Menu - No more buttons to change games. Now
all games are selected from the drop down menu.
Reverse - When the Reverse check box is selected the game runs
backwards. Select a valid peg and touch the valid hole from where it
came. The peg moves back and the peg that was removed is
re-inserted. This allows you to take back a move. You can also
create a custom board with just one peg in the center hole. Now, play in
reverse and try to reconstruct the various games. This will surely keep
you busy!
NEW FEATURES
Larger - For the aging human (like me) it's larger.
