Using Color Filter, specific messages are displayed in specified colors in a list. This feature is available with color Palm OS(R) handhelds only.
Select [Color Filter] from the List menu in the Remote screen to open the "Color Filter" dialog box. When a message matches more than one filter setting, the upper one has a priority.

Color | Specify a filtering color. Tapping the colored field opens the "Pick Color" dialog box, where you can specify a color. |
After setting each field, select the "Apply" checkbox and tap [OK]. The List will be displayed in the specified colors if messages match the Filter.
If you tap [OK] without selecting the "Apply" checkbox, the Color Filter settings will be saved, however, the function will not be activated. Tapping the Clear button discards all the settings and changes back to the default.Color-filtered messages in a list will be displayed as below. The Preview of the color-filtered messages will be shown in the same filtering color as well. Messages whose operation is selected will be displayed in System color whatever the color filter settings are.

Using this function, you can find specific messages easily and quickly. You can also find unlisted or unread messages only. Select [Search] from the List menu in the Remote screen to open the "Search" dialog box.

Choose ALL (AND search) or ANY (OR search) depending on how you want Search to perform.
Select To, CC, From, Subj, or Body (Body is IMAP4 only.) from the drop-down list, to set Search criteria. When [!] is selected, Search excludes the messages that contains the criteria.
When the checkbox is selected, PaPi-Mail(R) searches for the messages not listed before.
When the checkbox is selected, PaPi-Mail searches for unread messages in the current Mailbox. Definition of read messages can be chosen at "Receive" of General Setup.
Select the checkbox and select Since, Before, or On from the drop-down list, and then set a date. PaPi-Mail searches for messages based on the received date.
After setting above, select the "Apply" checkbox and tap [OK]. The Search settings are saved and the List button will change to the List* (with asterisk) button. By tapping the List* button, PaPi-Mail performs the Search upon creating a mail list. If you tap [OK] without selecting the "Apply" checkbox, Search settings will be saved but Search will not run.
If you tap [Cancel], all the input values will be cancelled and return to the previous setting. If you tap the Clear button, all input values will be discarded.
This function helps you to cut down the listing time. Select [Range] from the List menu in the Remote screen to open the "Range" dialog box. Define a range which PaPi-Mail refers to when creating a mail list.

Range | Specifies the number X to begin with and the number Y to be ended with. |

Choose [Range] or [Last], and set arbitrary numbers in the fields.

After setting above, select the "Apply" checkbox and tap [OK]. The Search settings are saved and the List button will change to the List* (with asterisk) button. By tapping the List* button, PaPi-Mail refers to the defined Range only when creating a mail list. If you tap [OK] without selecting the "Apply" checkbox, the Range settings will be saved. However, Range function will remain ineffective when creating a mail list. Tapping [Cancel] changes the settings back to the previous ones.
