(i)_World Pro Edition features more than 8500 informations.

In addition (i)_World Pro Edition allows you :

- to display World time zone
- to display physical map (elevation, ...).
- to display political map (cities, ...)
- To display flag, national emblem and national motto

Today, 193 countries are officially known as independent. The US State Department recognizes 191 independent countries around the world, but there are also 60 dependencies and  territories.
 (i)_World Pro Edition indexes the 220 countries which have a political and economic activity.
These official statistics are those used by the economists and analysts

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Supported OS: Palm OS 3.5 and higher.

Memory: 3.7 Mo RAM and 18 Mo available on memory card.

INSTALLATION

(i)_World Pro Edition is composed by 5 auto-installer packs.

Before installing, be sure that you have 3.7 Mo RAM free memory and 18 Mo on memory card.

1- Launch the QuickInstall tool and  install on the memory card the 5 following prc files :
   i_World1-D.prc
   i_World2-D.prc
   i_World3-D.prc
   i_World4-D.prc
   i_World5-D.prc

2- Perform a HotSync operation.

3- On your Palm, select the memory card, then tap on :
           install iWorld-1.prc to install the #1 pack
           install iWorld-2.prc to install the #2 pack
           install iWorld-3.prc to install the #3 pack
            install iWorld-4.prc to install the #4 pack
           install iWorld-5.prc to install the #5 pack

 

If while the install process you might reply to a window dialog, always tap on "Replace"

 

4- Once installation is finished, remove the 5 auto-installer packs

 

The installation of (i)_World Pro Edition is completed after running the 5 auto-installer packs.

(i)_World Pro Edition is installed on memory card.

 

Important note to Tungsten T5 and LifeDrive owners :

- Go to the folder /PALM/Programs on the memory card

- Select the folder iWorld

- Move that folder to INTERNAL/PALM/Programs/ on the internal disk

GETTING STARTED

(i)_World Pro Edition is easy-to-use and designed to access quickly to informations.
No hidden features beside a lot of drop down menus, all functions are under your stylus.
No settings are needed.
Once installed (i)_World Pro Edition is fully functionnal.

The question mark button on the main screen explains every icon of the program.
Detailed help text is provided to explain every area of the program and can be accessed by tapping on the question mark button in any screen.

On each continent screen :

- tap on the line in the bottom of the screen to reach the 35 socio-economic keys of the corresponding country.
- tap on the flag to reach the arms of coat and national motto of the corresponding country.
- tap on the name of the Sea or Ocean or ~ symbol to consult its description

In the country rank screen, by default, countries are sorted in alphabetic order.
To change this selection, tap on the table header of each column to sort in ascending or descending order. To reverse, tap again.

In order to avoid long navigation through the table to locate a country, select this country in the popup. Keys of this country corresponding to the selected criteria are displayed in a dedicated area

To quickly search a city, enter the first letters then tap on the 'magnify' button.

 UNINSTALL

To uninstall (i)_World Pro Edition :

- Delete the folder iWorld wich is on the memory card under the folder /PALM/Programs.

-  Delete the file (i)_World-D.prc wich is on the memory card under the folder /PALM/Launcher.

- Delete in RAM all databases that begin by (i)_World
