DJ Miner is a remake of the classic mines game that seems to be now shipped with every new operating system and every new computer in the world. There is hardly anything we have to explain about this game, which has created a nice micro-economy of its own among the computer mice manufacturers.
There are quite a few clones of the game for Palm OS already, but at least to our knowledge, none of them offers the combination of sound and graphics that DJ Miner has. Similar to many of its cousins, DJ Miner was actually developed as a technology proof of another program and technology - the Elvis Player and the Elvis Sound Engine for PalmOS, but ended up so nicely looking we decided you may like it and register it, so we are releasing it as a shareware.
Enjoy!
As we have said, you are supposed to know the rules ;-). Just in case, we have left a copy of the instructions in the game itself, so if you need them, please look there.
One thing you may like to know from here, though, is that you do not have to hold down any extra button in order to mark a mine: you can just hold down the pen for a little and it the field will be marked. Patience is the key to success ;-)
As a good shareware, the game is playable in its publicly available form. Yet, as a good shareware, it stimulates you to register by limiting your access to play at the highest difficulty levels.
In addition to this extra functionality, the registered users will receive graphical and sound skins free of charge. And will hopefully feel good they support shareware, after all.
You can register anytime for a few bucks on our website, PalmGear H.Q. or Handango. Registering through our website is usually recommended for faster processing (and because we'll see more of the registration, of course).
