3D Othello is a fine-looking version of the original Othello board game (also known as Reversi and Reversal), specially designed for high resolution Palm devices. Realtime generated 3d effects and 16 bit color background graphics makes 3D Othello stand out from other Othello games. See the game discs flip and rotate as they're being played, and hear the enhanced wave sounds accompanying the game as you take on the computer or a friend in a challenging match!

3D Othello is distributed as an archive (with the extension .zip), and you must first use a tool such as Winzip (see http://www.winzip.com) to unzip the package.

Game requirements: Palm OS 4.0+ and high resolution (minimum 320x320 pixels) display.

In the archive you will find the following files:

• 3dOthello_Hires_OS5sound.prc
• 3dOthello_Hires_Sonysound.prc
• 3dOthello.gif
• 3dOthello.html

3dOthello.html is the file you are currently reading.
3dOthello.gif is a small animation showing a couple of screen dumps from the game.

To install the game, you need to double click on the appropriate prc file:
3dOthello_Hires_OS5sound.prc: For high resolution OS5.0 Palm devices, such as the Tungsten C or Tungsten T.
3dOthello_Hires_Sonysound.prc: For high resolution Sony devices, such as Sony Clie NR70V.

3D Othello in unregistered mode has exactly the same functionality as 3D Othello in unregistered mode apart from one thing: each game is restricted to a maximum of 16-18 moves.

To register 3D Othello, click the following link to visit the PalmGear 3D Othello page, and then click 'Buy'. From here, you can order your own personal registration key. You will need to supply your Palm User ID. If you don't know your Palm User Id, choose register from the Help Menu while you're playing 3D Othello to find out what it is.

Once you've registered, you are entitled to free updates and bugfixes of 3D Othello from the NewBornGames web site whenever they become available. The license and the registration code you've bought will be valid for all future versions of 3D Othello.
