Maximus is a Pocket PC supplement - personal organizer for home and business use. The wide choice of icons -over 50 grouped in personal and business, colors conformed to the overall design, etc. presents only few of the features that will help you better organize and visualize your daily activities.

| How To Install |
Use an extractor program such as
WinZip
on the PC to get at the Maximus files. Install the
application by double-clicking on the .exe file which opens the Install Tool program.
Use the ActiveSync button as usual to install the
program onto your Pocket PC device. Now run Maximus
by tapping on its icon! If you have got any

application itself, please get in touch with us at the email address at the top of this page. Month View In the main application's screen of your device, tap on the
Maximus icon. The following picture will appear on the display representing the
Month View:
Initially all squares in the Calendar view will be colored in
soft green and there will be no icons on them. On the top of the screen you can
see a scroll bar containing all the icons. You can scroll through them by the
left or right direction buttons. These icons represent tasks or appointments
that you may use to visualize your daily activities. The day boxes are divided
into four regions - corresponding to time zones: upper left which indicates task
or appointment before 10 o’clock am, upper right – from 10am to 1pm, bottom left
– from 1pm to 4pm and bottom right – later than 4pm. You can insert icons by
tapping on the desired time zone of the day and selecting an icon from the
scroll list above. Meanwhile a sparkling star-like sign appears on the place
where the icon will appear when you select one. If you tap on the upper part of
the day box on the level of the date you will enter "Day View" screen. In the
screenshots above you can see that there are soft green and dark green
day-boxes. A box turns dark green when it contains an appointment or task which
expires today. The navigation is performed by a toolbar on the bottom of the
screen. The first button present is the Main button. It takes you to the “Day
View”, “Year View”, “Contacts” and “Report” screens. There are two combo boxes
besides the “Main” button by which you can control the date. Then the two arrows
come – “Previous month” and “Next month”. The next button opens an additional
toolbar. The last button on this toolbar opens Help screen. There are three pop up menus on the second toolbar – “Group”,
“Tools” and “Help”. The four icons that follow represent direct links to “Year
View”, “Day View”, “Contacts” and “Report” screens. The fifth one clears
Selections, Appointments and Tasks. The icons are grouped in two – personal and business. You can
control their group appearance from the “Group” button in the additional
toolbar. The button “Tools” is used to sort the icons in the desired order. Also
you can set the start day of the week and the date format. The “Help” menu consists of “Help”, “About” and “Register”.
Day View There are two ways to enter Day View mode. In Month
View if you click on the up most part of the day box you enter Day View
as in the first picture bellow. The first icon represents an appointment and the
second a task. If any of them is in red color then it expires today. If you enter Day View from the "Main" menu on
Month View you will see a screen similar to the second picture bellow. As
you can see there is an additional browse window to the left where handling
folders you can enter the desired date. The tree control is useful if you wish
to see all the days with tasks or appointments. When the tree control is
switched off a toolbar appears in the upper part of the screen. There you can
move through days. The outer double arrows serve for transition between months
and the inner single arrows for transfer to previous or next day. The right part
of the toolbar contains the days of the week from where you can point to a
certain day.
The toolbar in the bottom of the screen consists of six buttons.
The first one directs the user to the “Month View”. The second one serves for
new task or appointment entering. The third button connects some of the existing
contacts with an appointment or task. The fourth button deletes a selected item
from the list. Then comes the on/off browse panel button. The last button is
under construction in this version of the program.
Year View “Year View” represents a typical calendar. The days that
glow in red
have an appointment or a task entered earlier . Only they are active.
When you tap on one of them a pop up window appears showing the specific task or
appointment icon together with its subject. The close button is positioned in
the upper right corner of the pop up window.
How
to use Maximus
In the left corner of the toolbar there is a navigation button leading to the “Month View” screen. You can move through years by the combo box, coming next, or using the two arrows – Next or Previous Year. There is a button "Help" at the end of the toolbar represented by a question mark icon.
Contact View
On this screen you can view all your contacts and edit them if you wish. There is a combo box on the top of the screen. The desired contact category is selected there. In the screenshots bellow you can see two different icons a contact can start with. In the first one the icon represents a contact without a picture. The other icon appears when there is a picture attached. If you wish to view the information about a certain contact you should click on it and a window appears as in the second screenshot bellow. By clicking on "more info" hyperlink you can enter "Edit" mode and view all the information entered.
Report View
This screen serves for making reports for a selected period. From the combo box “Type” you can choose if the report should include only tasks or appointments or both of them. The next combo box to the right is used to select either completed or not completed tasks over which a report to be prepared. Then you can select a category from the combo box bellow. The button “Submit” is used to confirm the inquiry for report.
The toolbar bellow includes three icons. The first one takes you directly to “Month View”. The next icon deletes completed appointments and the last one deletes completed tasks.
Customize View
If you want to put the icons in order that is more convenient for you open Customize View from Month View, the additional toolbar, Tools menu. You can choose to sort only Business, only Personal or all icons. In the picture bellow all icons have been selected to be arranged in the desired order. The process is very simple - you tap on an icon from the upper field and drag-and-drop it in the one bellow. You can cancel, accept or reset the process by the buttons in the toolbox. If you click on "Reset" button, all the icons placed in the second field return to their initial places in the upper field. That is how you can start sorting the icons from the very beginning. The button "Back" can turn only three steps backwards. Finally if you accept this icons-order by tapping on "OK" button you are returned to the "Month View" screen where you can see the icons on the scrollbar arranged in your personal order and taste.
Help
Help screen can be entered from Month View, Year View or Contact View. In all of them you can use the question mark icon in the right end of the toolbar. In Month View you can also use the "Help" menu on the second toolbar to enter Help. When you enter Help the first screen you see is the first screenshot bellow. There are hyperlinks that can take you to any chapter of Help. You can also use the two arrows to the right to go to next page. The big button at the bottom of the screen closes Help screen and returns you to Month View. On the second picture there is an "index" hyperlink which takes you back to the start page of the Help. You can use the arrow to scroll through the pages forward or backwards.
About
You can open About screen from Month View from the second toolbar when you open Help menu and select About. The big button at the bottom of the screen closes it. This screen is only informative.
Program Settings
Go to Tools menu in Month View screen on the second toolbar to adjust your settings. In this screen you can specify the main settings of the program:

The software is delivered as is and Webvisia LLC makes no warranty as to its use or performance. Webvisia LLC does not, and cannot warrant the performance or results you may obtain by using the Software or its documentation. Webvisia LLC makes no warranties, express or implied, as to non-infringement of third party rights, merchantability, or fitness for any particular purpose. In no event will Webvisia LLC be liable to you for any consequential, incidental or special damages, or for any claim by any third party.
Legal
Webvisia’s and its suppliers’ entire liability and your exclusive remedy shall be, at Webvisia’s option, either (a) return of the price paid, if any, or (b) replacement of the product that does not meet the warranty and which is returned to Webvisia with a copy of your receipt. This warranty is void if failure of the product has resulted from accident, abuse, or misapplication. Any replacement software product will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer. These remedies are not available without proof of purchase from an authorized source.
