This utility attaches to the Pocket Outlook Tasks applet and allows you to conveniently add many tasks in a single operation, as shown below:
It will automatically copy its initial values from the currently selected task to easily make additional tasks with similar settings. These values are:
Field | Description | Default Value |
---|---|---|
Categories | Zero or more selected categories from the selected task | No categories selected |
Prefix | First word from of the selected task subject, followed by a single space | No prefix |
Priority | Priority of the selected task: High, Normal, or Low | Normal |
Sensitivity | Sensitivity of the selected task: Normal, or Private | Normal |
You can invoke the utility from the Tools menu of the Tasks applet, or you can invoke it from the context menu displayed when you click-and-hold on an item in the Tasks applet, as shown below:
SETUP.EXE
file from the temporary folder.
It will launch the Windows CE Application Manager which will guide you
through the rest of the installation. If you are asked whether you want to install the
software in another location, note that the selection has no effect - this software is always
installed in the Windows
folder regardless of your choice.

This utility is copyright ©2000-2001 Tapani Otala, and shall remain so. You can freely install it as many times as you want. You can also freely copy it as many times as you want, so long as this ReadMe file is copied with it. The only things you cannot do are a) remove this copyright notice, and b) charge money for copies of the software beyond a reasonable fee for shipping and handling.
Furthermore, this software is provided as-is. I believe it to be reasonably free of bugs. However, if it should reduce your PocketPC into a smoldering heap of plastic and metal, well, that's just too bad. I would appreciate hearing about it, though, if for nothing else than to figure out how I managed to do it.
