How To Install
If you'd ever installed a Palm OS application you should experience no
problems installing this game. But to complete the manual we had to write
about it:
- Extract cards.prc file from the game ZIP archive and double click it
- "Install Tool" window will appear. Click "Done" button to confirm the installation
- Also you need to install game add-ons if any. They are Palm Database files containing missions, levels or other data.
You can find them in the same ZIP archive. If you do not see such files, they are not needed.
- HotSync your handheld to complete the installation.
Game Rules
Klondike
The objective is to move all cards to the foundations.
Layout:
- One Deck (52 cards). Tap on the deck to play the topmost card onto the waste pile.
- When the deck is empty, it will move all cards from the waste back to the deck.
- One or three Waste pile(s) (depending on settings), filled by clicking the deck. Cards from here may be played onto the Foundations and Tableaux. You may not play any card onto the waste pile(s).
- Four Foundation piles, initially empty. Start building by moving an Ace to the empty foundation, followed by 2, then 3 and so on until King. Each foundation accepts cards of the same suit in ascending order only (UP IN SUIT).
- Seven Tableau piles, initially dealt between 1 and 7 cards. The top card of each Tableau is face-up. Cards can be played onto the tableaux if they are one rank below and of a different color (DOWN IN ALTERNATE COLOR) than the topmost card of the pile.
- To move cards between tableaux or to send an Ace to the foundation, drag-and-drop them to the appropriate location. Playing a King onto it may only fill an empty tableau.
FreeCell
- Four FreeCells, initially empty. Any card may be played onto a FreeCell, but each FreeCell may hold only one card.
- The FreeCells are used as temporary storage areas while arranging the Tableaux.
- All cards in the Tableau are face-up. Cards can be played onto the tableaux if they are one rank below and of a different color (DOWN IN ALTERNATE COLOR) than the topmost card of the pile. Groups of cards cannot be moved. Playing any card onto it may fill an empty tableau.
Trefoil
- Foundations: build up in suit from Ace to King (Ace, 2... 10, Jack... King).
- Tableau (16 fans of 3 cards each): build down in suit (for example Jack of hearts can be played on Queen of hearts only).
- Each top card of a pile can be played to another tableau (up to 5) or to the foundation.
- Spaces are not filled.
- After all possible moves have been made, push 'Redeal' button.
- Two redeals are available.
Grandfather's clock
To move all the cards to the foundations (the 'Clock').
Foundations (12 piles: the 'Clock'. Complete these piles to win the game):
- Build up in suit from the base card until the top card of each foundation shows the number corresponding to its position on a clock face (the 'hour' in a clock in that position). For example, the 3 of hearts at the bottom would build up to the 6 of hearts (6 o'clock).
- Jack equals 11 o'clock and Queen equals 12 o'clock.
- Ranking of cards is continuous: build Aces after Kings when necessary.
- All the piles will require 3 cards, except the Ten, Jack, Queen and King, which will require 4 cards each.
Tableau (8 columns of 5 cards each):
- Build down regardless of suit (for example, a 5 of spades can be played on a 6 of any suit).
- The top card of each pile is available for play to another tableau pile or to the foundations.
- Only one card at a time can be moved.
- Spaces may be filled with any available card.
Four Seasons
- The card in the top left corner of the layout becomes the first foundation. Called the starting card or base card, it changes relating to any shuffle.
- The other three corners are the remaining foundations. Each corner is a different suit. Cards of the same rank as the first foundation need to be placed there.
Foundations (4 piles, corners of layout: complete these piles to win the game):
- Build up in suit (for example, a 5 of hearts can be played on a 4 of hearts ) from the base card to the rank just below the base card until each pile contains 13 cards.
- Ranking of cards is continuous: build Aces after Kings when necessary.
Reserve (5 piles, forming a cross in the layout):
- Build down regardless of suit (for example, a 5 of spades can be played on a 6 of any suit ).
- Ranking of cards is continuous: build Kings after Aces when necessary.
- The top card of each pile is available for play to another reserve pile or to the foundations.
- Spaces may be filled with any available card.
Stock
- Turn up one card at a time from the stock to the waste by tapping.
- There is no redeal.
Waste (1 pile)
- The top card is available for play to the foundations or to the reserve.
Yukon
Foundations (4 piles: complete these piles to win the game):
Build up in suit from Ace to King (for example, a 2 of hearts can be played only on an Ace of hearts ).
Tableau (7 columns):
- Build down in alternating colors (for example, a 10 of spades can be played on a Jack of hearts ).
- Ranking of cards is not continuous: an Ace may be built only on a 2, not on a King.
- The top card of each column is available for play to another tableau column or to the foundations.
- Any face-up card, no matter how deep it is in a column, may be moved to make a build. All the covering cards are moved with it as a unit.
- Spaces may be filled only with a King, a King-sequence or a King with any overlapping cards.
Fortune's Favor
Object of the game: to move all the cards to the foundations.
Foundations (4 piles: complete these piles to win the game):
- The four Aces are placed in a row to become the foundations.
- Build up in suit from Ace to King (for example, a 2 of hearts can be played only on an Ace of hearts).
Tableau (12 piles in 2 rows of 6 cards each):
- Build down in suit (for example, a 10 of spades can be played only on a Jack of spades).
- The top card of each pile is available for play to another tableau pile or to the foundations.
- Only one card at a time can be moved.
- Spaces are automatically filled from the stock or the waste.
Stock:
- Turn up one card at a time from the stock to the waste by clicking.
- There is no redeal.
Waste (1 pile): The top card is available for play to the foundations or to the tableau.
Chinese
The objective is to move all cards to the foundations.
Layout:
- One Deck (52 cards). Tap on the deck to play the topmost card onto the waste pile.

- Seven Tableau piles, initially dealt in 7 cards. All cards of first three Tableau are face-up. Four cads of fourth Tableau are face-up. Three cads of fifth Tableau are face-up. And so on. The rest of three cards are placed in the Stock. The top card of each Tableau is face-up. Cards can be played onto the tableaux if they are one rank below and of a different color (DOWN IN ALTERNATE COLOR) than the topmost card of the pile.
