1. About PowerNet

PowerNet is a power manager for PalmOS. With PowerNet you can tune AutoOff timer, disable it while network active. Also you can control backlight while hotsyncing and so on.
Features:
- Disable backlight while HotSync
- Turn off 'Beam Receive' after HotSync (PalmOS 4 bugfix)
- Fine tune AutoOff timer with 1 second discrete.
- Disable AutoOff timer while network is active
- Turn off backlight instead of AutoOff timer
- Disable power button while networking.
- Program has no hidden hacks.
- No extra power consuming.
- Auto start after reset.
2. Requirements
PowerNet require PalmOS 3.5+ and works on any device from Palm, Sony, Handspring and Handera.
3. Installation/Deinstallation
Download PowerNet from http://powernet.palmoid.com/powernet.zip. Unzip it and install PowerNet.Prc on your device. Run it.
4. Usage
Configure PowerNet for you needs and exit. Now all settings become active.
5. Configuration. HotSync Settings
- Turn off backlight - turn off backlight while hotsyncing and restore it after. This option used to save battery.
- Turn off 'Beam Receive' after - well known PalmOS4 bug caused beam receive activation after hotsync. Active beam receive cause large power consumption. Check this option to save battery.
6. Configuration. AutoOff timer.
- AutoOff time - you can set preferable time for inactivity timer, more options than in Prefs->General.
- Disable AutoOff while online - Most important feature. If you tired to restore network connection after AutoOff, you can check this option. Don't foreget to disconnect, else you can discharge battery completely.
- Disable AutoOff forever - You can disable auto-off with this option. Don't forget to turn device off manuall, else you discharge battery.
- Turn off backlight instead - If you choose to disable AutoOff timer, you can turn off backlight instead of complete device.
7. Configuration. Other.
- Disable Power button while online. - disable occasionally touch of Power button in online mode.
