Thank you for your interest in "Hector James". This is just one of a range of inebooks available through Palm Gear in a number of genres, including mystery, adventure, fantasy and children's stories.

This version of the software supports sound sample and hires images, and will only run on PalmOS 5.0 or greater. There are greyscale and standard colour versions available here .

To Install:

1. Start the Palm Desktop on your Mac, PC or Linux computer and press the Install button.

2. Add the file "HectorJames.prc".

3. Press Done on the Install Screen.

4. Press the HotSync button on your cradle.

When the Hotsync process completes your Palm Desktop will now show the icon "JAMES". Note that this inebook can be installed and run from any memory expansion card (SD card, Memory Stick or Springboard).

Help is always available within this inebook by pressing (?) in the bottom left hand corner of the screen, and you can get further advice from the Hints menu option.

You are free to play the first part of this story, but you will not be able to complete "Hector James" until you register this inebook. After purchasing this software from Palm Gear please follow the instructions emailed by Palm Gear to you in order to complete the registration process.
