FingerAddress is an Address enhanced program that allows you to quickly lookup in the Address Book without stylus, fast and accurate. It also supports changing skins to suit your special need. And more...
Features:
Since FingerAddress supports changing skins, its main program and skin resource are separated. So to let FingerAddress run, you must install the main program and at least skin resource database.
Below are the file's descriptions, please install them according to your device, so you can save memory storage.

Run for the first time
If you install more than one skin, FingerAddress will ask you to select a skin. Simply select the skin you want, and tap OK.
To find a contact, for each character just tap the button that contains the character you need. You can also use Graffiti or an attached or built-in keyboard to enter characters.
For example, to find "Smith" tap the following buttons: [PQRS], [MNO], and [GHI]. You do not need to tap [PQRS] four times, [MNO] once and [GHI] three times.
Back button
Tap [Back] button to do a backspace.
Clear button
Tap [Clear] button to clear the whole search string
Skip button
The [Skip] button is very useful when you have some contacts with the same name in the search result. It makes the software to search from the beginning of each field within the result.
For example, you want to find David, Smith, so you tap [DEF], [ABC], [TUV], but there are too many contacts in the search result. So you can tap [Skip] button and [PQRS], and that's it.
Complete button
Tap [Complete] button means the end of search string.
For example, you want to find John, but there are also too many contacts called Johnson in the result, so you tap [Complete] button and the contacts containing Johnson will disappear.
History button
Tap [History] button to show your lookup history, you can also look up in your history.
Note: The layout of each skin may vary depending on the skin designer. And not all the skins provide all the function buttons, so you can access these functions from the menu.
Change FingerAddress's preferences
Tap [Options] -> [Preferences...] to change FingerAddress's preferences, the following window will appear.
Search: Determines the fields you want to search in. Selecting 'Name' will search in Last name, First name and Company. Selecting 'Phone' will search in Last name, First name, Company and all the Phone fields. Selecting 'All' will search in all the fields.
Address button runs FinAddr: Check this will launch FingerAddress at any time you press Address button. Press Address button again to toggle to the original Address program.
Open details if single match: Open Details if there is a single match. The software will wait for a certain time to open details, in case you press the wrong button.
Display details: Display contact's details in the Main form. If you check 'Multi-Line', the software will display the details in multi-line (Treo600's style).
Remember last category: If you check this, the next time you start FingerAddress, it will remain the current category selection.
ToDo button selects item: It is designed for old device which doesn't have a select button. Check this ToDo button will simulate the select button. Device which has 5-way navigator or Jog-Dial needn't check this.
Auto return when done: If you check this, when you go to another program to open details, tap the Launcher silk button will return to FingerAddress.
Address Book: Select the program that you want to go to when open details.
FinAddrMate is a FingerAddress's extension program. It allows you to Dial/SMS/E-mail contacts. It will also enable you to quickly create an entry in the Date Book or To Do List.
To use FinAddrMate, simply launch FinAddrMate, and then select a contact. And the following window will appear.

Trial period expired
You have 14 days to try full functions after the first use of FingerAddress. After 14 days, the software will popup a dialog indicating the trial period is expired.
If you want to continue using full functions, you have to buy it. Or you can choose to run in free mode to use limit functions for free, and the dialog will not be prompted next time.

Enter registration code
After receive the registration code, you can enter it into FingerAddress, and re-run the software to enable full functions.
First, tap [Options] -> [About...], and the dialog below appears.
Enter the registration code you received into the field, then re-run the software to enable full functions.
Tap [Options] -> [About...] again, if you see the dialog below means you successfully completing the registration.
